Appearance: Slatelily is a grey she-cat with amber eyes, a white chin, and a white tipped tail. She has short, soft fur and a ruff of thicker fur around her narrow face. Like most RushClan cats she has long legs, an aerodynamic build, and blunt claws.
Personality: Slatelily is a very stern, motherly cat. She's great with kits, even those who aren't her own, and every young cat and RushClan can thank her for at least some of their upbringing. She's very good at keeping kits entertained, disciplining them when they misbehave, and preparing them for their apprenticeship. She sometimes uses her motherly voice when talking to full grown warriors and tends to gossip, which has gained her some ill-will among the Clan, but the overall attitude towards her is positive.

History:


Slatelily was born alongside a twin sister by the name Crispwind. The two grew up together as close as peas in a pod. As an apprentice she did fine in her duties, but never really cared for fighting or hunting but preferred doing little things around camp. She became a favorite in the nursery and elder's den, getting to know the preferences in food and bedding of her Clanmates well. 
She developed a crush on another apprentice, Hollowshade, and always made sure to leave his favorite piece of freshkill, a dove, on his nest when she cleaned it. He was oblivious to her advances and instead went with another she-cat, a young warrior named Tumbleflight. The two became mates while Slatelily watched sadly from afar, not wanting to interfere with the happiness of the cat she loved.
Tumbleflight and Hollowshade had a litter, but around two months after they were born Tumbleflight became sick and died. Slatelily volunteered to foster the kittens, and through parenting them the two cats became closer. She helped to raise the kittens of many other queens, realizing that helping with kittens was a much better fit for her than the life of a warrior. After a few moons they decided to have a litter of their own, having two kits. The second of the litter was born with only one, large eye, and died shortly after being born. Slatelily was heartbroken, but didn't let the death get in the way. After her living kit became an apprentice, she had a second litter of three healthy kittens.
