Pinewhisker of PathClan

Pine- (noun) an evergreen coniferous tree that has clusters of long needle-shaped leaves. 

He was given this prefix for his brown tabby coat resembling the bark of a pine tree.

-whisker (noun) a long projecting hair or bristle growing from the face or snout of many mammals.

He was given this suffix for his outstanding hunting abilities.

Pinewhisker was born alongside his one brother, Oakstrike. They were very playful and mischievous like the usual kits, and when they became apprentices they trained a lot together. The two of them loved to play pranks on other apprentices all of the time, and they were often breaking the rules by going farther into the tunnel system where they lived than they were supposed to. The two of them would always ask the she-cats to come with them, but they denied every time. Eventually, Pinepaw and Oakpaw grew more mature, even though their mentors were both quite witty and were not as strict as they expected. After passing the final tests, the two inseparable brothers became warriors. A few days later, Leafpath passed from old age, which took quite a toll on both of them. Oakstrike had definitely been closer to her, since they were much more similar in views, but Pinewhisker still grieved for the she-cat who raised him to be the warrior he was. When he was around 18 moons, he met Birchfrost, and she took his mind off things. He knew she was the perfect mate, and now they are expecting a litter of three. Despite his dislike for kits in the past, he is excited for something to focus on rather than just hunting every day.
