Gustynose is a large, slightly scraggly looking grey tom with large ears, wide blue eyes, and a birth defect that left a strange hole in the right side of his muzzle. Like the rest of the Clan he has short, strong legs and a thick, fluffy tail.

Though he looks rather gruff and old Gustynose still has a heart; he is a good listener, if he wants to stop, and often finds himself with nobody else to talk to. He's a

Born as one of three but the only of the litter to survive, Gustykit was adored by his mother Leafdrizzle, and named after his recently deceased father Gustytalon in honour of his brave sacrifice to the Clan. Though as a kit Gusty never vowed to let his differences show, he was often left to the side and not played with, as his strange looks worried his mother Leafdrizzle that he might hurt himself. At four moons Gustykit one evening snuck out of the camp, almost falling and breaking his back if it weren't for his father's brother, the old medicine cat. Gustykit began to spend much more time with Whiteivy, the tom recognising his strong gift for memorising and offering Gustykit the chance to become a medicine apprentice. Gustykit was delighted, and after earning his apprentice name Gustypaw began training with gusto.
