Quill
26 moons
tom
rogue
Quill, from a distance, could be mistaken for a rather small badger, with a black and white patched pelt and small, beady eyes that barely show their blue iris. At a closer look, the tom is rather...intriguing, with hardened patches of fur that seems to have been slicked back to points by the incessant bacteria-riddled drool dangling from his maw, and dangerously unsheathed claws.
Much like his appearance, Quill is a sharp and cold tom, with a habit of making snide remarks at other cats even if he likes their company. He grew into that habit as a kit and never lost it, though he doesn't intend to change, and likes the way he is. Cruel and sadistic, he also likes to watch his prey - food or otherwise - suffer, and uses his mutations with the confidence of a cat that doesn't have a true conscience. He will pick fights for the sake of it but will absolutely back down under pressure, hating how cowardly he feels and using the rage later to bully smaller and weaker animals.

Quill was born as one of two kits to a young she-cat named Dawn, who was in no way equipped to deal with kits and ended up giving birth in the open. This made her kits weak, and Quill's sister died not long after from exposure. Dawn grieved but invested her time and energy into her remaining kit, and Quill grew strong and smug from the attention of his mother. Not long after he turned six moons his father reappeared and moved in with them, a strong tom by the name of Oak, and he regarded Quill and his habit of grooming disgusting. It wasn't until Dawn was expecting kits again that Quill realised his time was up, and without saying goodbye, he set off to explore the lands. He was by himself for a few moons, hunting in the relative abundance of leaf-fall, but when leafbare arrived he found himself lost in snows and disoriented. Luckily he came across a group of travelling rogues, who kindly shared their scraps of prey even if he definitely didn't sound grateful for their help, and soon he became part of their ranks.
